A 24-year-old Woodstock man will appear in court Feb. 23 after authorities reportedly found more $700 worth of narcotics inside his vehicle.
Aaron R. Wahl, of the 300 block of S. Tryon Street, has been charged with three counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Intelligence Led Police Unit stopped Wahl at around 9 p.m. Friday near Orleans Street and Lauren Court in McHenry, according to a press release. A search with assistance from the K-9 Unit reportedly netted 48 clonazepam pills, 29 diazepam pills, 7.3 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 5.2 grams of cannabis and two pipes.
A total of $190 in cash was also found.
He was also charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver as well as unlawful possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver.
