Woodridge’s Allstate Employees Donate “Back to Work Supplies” to Help Domestic Violence Survivors

Woodridge Allstate Employees donate to WINGS

Woodridge Allstate Employees donate to WINGS

Allstate employees collected “back to work” supplies from area residents as part of October’s National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The collected items included: resume paper, portfolios, notebooks, calendars, calculators and pens. The supplies were given to domestic violence survivors at local domestic violence shelter WINGS to prepare them to enter or re-enter the workforce with confidence. The Allstate Foundation also presented a $4,243 donation to WINGS to support their economic empowerment for domestic violence survivors program. The monetary donation was a result of a used art sale held at Allstate’s national headquarters in Northbrook.
