On Tuesday, February 21, French School students celebrated Mardi Gras with a colorful parade of beautifully decorated masks and hats. In addition to charming hats inspired by the children’s favorite stories or characters, this year’s parade had notable international influences. As part of the yearlong theme of around the world, the children are learning about other cultures and traditions, visiting six different countries throughout the year. Inspired by their international travels, the children created their own masks and hats for the big parade.
