New Trier Township kicked off its 160th anniversary celebration at the Annual Town meeting on April 13, 2010 at the Takiff Center in Glencoe.  With entertainment provided by the Senior Stompers of the North Shore Senior Center and picturesque exhibits from the Glencoe, Kenilworth, WIlmette and Winnetka Historical Societies the Township’s year long festivities of “Honoring Our Past, Looking Forward to Our Future” is underway.  In addition to reports from Township Officials, the meeting provided an opportunity to recognize outstanding individuals who make a difference in New Trier Township.
