Beth Hillel Congregation Bnai Emunah – Wilmette is pleased to welcome
Rabbi Michael Cohen as the new educational director of the synagogue's
Academy. Rabbi Cohen, who grew up in the Chicago area, is a recent graduate
of the Jewish Theological Seminary – New York where he received a Masters in Jewish Education
and Rabbinic Ordination. He brings with him a wealth of teaching experience at
a variety of Jewish institutions and many new, exciting and creative ideas in
education.
Rabbi Cohen is delighted to be at Beth Hillel Congregation Bnai Emunah.
"There's nothing quite like going back to your hometown and giving back to
the Jewish community that has given so much. I can't think of a place I would
rather be educating young Jews than right here in Chicago."
