Performers that theatre-goers have recently seen on the stages of the Goodman, Steppenwolf, and Chicago Shakespeare Theater at Navy Pier brought an hour of “street theatre” to Wilmette's Village Green. The free "Shakespeare on the Green" featured a series of short scenes chosen by the actors, including their favorite monologues and dialogues from familiar works such as “As You Like It,” “Much Ado About Nothing,” “Henry V,” and “Macbeth.”
