The following incidents were taken from Kenilworth Police Department reports between Jan. 30-Feb. 5.

TRESPASSING

An unlocked vehicle parked in the 600 block of Melrose Avenue was entered sometime between 6 and 8:30 p.m. Feb. 3. The glove box and center console were left open, but nothing appeared to be stolen.

FRAUD

Two residents fell victim to a scam in which someone called their homes pretending to be a friend or a family member in need of a emergency funds. One resident wired $8,900 before learning the caller was not a relative; the other wired $2,350 before learning the caller was not a friend. Click here for the story.
