West of Naperville Road, on Farnham Lane, near the farthest part of it, you will see a lonely lot on the south side. It is not entirely empty, though. There's the blacktop driveway. It leads into the center of the lot. Branches are strewn in the front, between two thick stone posts at the entryway.

All other evidence of what must have been a grand home is gone. It was built, lived in, and torn down. Someone has memories there. Now, it is just a yard waiting for a home.
