Attempted robbery, graffiti on church building, and more

The following incidents were taken from Wheaton Police reports on Feb. 7:

DUI

A Wheaton woman was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and endangering the life of a child near the intersection of President Street and Willow Avenue on Jan. 26.

Theft

Boots were reported stolen in the 2100 block of West Roosevelt Road on Jan. 28.

A laptop was reported stolen from an unsecured locker in the 600 block of East Kenilworth Avenue on Jan. 30.

Change was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 200 block of South Blanchard Street on Jan. 31.

A wallet containing $20 and an ID was reported stolen in the 600 block of East Kenilworth Avenue on Jan. 31.

A wallet, mobile music device and personal ID were reported stolen from a secured locker at Wheaton North High School on Jan. 31.

Cash, a cassette tape and insurance and registration cards were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1600 block of South Briarcliffe Boulevard sometime between Jan. 30 and Feb. 5.

A GPS unit and coins were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1200 block of Evergreen Street sometime between Jan. 30 and Feb. 5.

An evicted tenant stole a door lock cylinder from the 800 block East Crescent Street sometime between Jan. 30 and Feb. 5.

A campaign sign was stolen from a yard in the 1900 block of South Orchard Road sometime between Jan. 30 and Feb. 5.

Property damage

A garage door was reportedly kicked and damaged in the 500 block of Amy Lane on Jan. 30

Vehicle tires were flattened in the 400 block of North County Farm Road sometime between Jan. 30 and Feb. 5.

Graffiti was reportedly painted on the exterior of the Church of the Resurrection, in the 900 block of W. Union Ave., sometime between Jan. 30 and Feb. 5.

Attempted burglary

Three suspects were thwarted from entering the rear door at Radio Shack, in the 1500 block of N. Main St., sometime between Jan. 30 and Feb. 5.
