Dan Rutherford

State Treasurer Dan Rutherford will make public appearances in Wheaton and Glen Ellyn next week.

Rutherford will visit those towns, and other DuPage County cities, as part of his “Cash Dash” tour that will help residents determine whether the state is holding any money or unclaimed property entitled to them, according to a release from his office.

Rutherford is scheduled to be at the Wheaton Public Library at 5:15 p.m. Oct. 4, but his staff will be there from 5 to 6 p.m. to assist residents. He’ll be at the Glen Ellyn Civic Center at 9:15 a.m. Oct. 5, and his staff will be there from 8:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
