On the afternoon of August 24, 2010, a call came into the Western Springs Fire Department, that a mother was giving birth to her child at home and needed the assistance of the Western Springs Fire Department and Paramedics.

Lead Paramedic Megan Lindsey, Paramedic Steven Bradley, and Paramedic Tim Conley arrived at the home. The baby was born at the home.  The 3 Paramedics assisted with any needs of the mother and baby.  The Paramedics were told that the newborn was named after the ‘male’  paramedics that helped deliver the child, Timothy Steven.

Paramedic/Firefighter Steve Bradley said,”It was an Awesome feeling to help bring a baby into the world!”
