More than 100 local middle school basketball players participated in the MYMVPs Elite 100 Showcase Monday at Wheaton Academy in West Chicago.

While some came from Indiana, Rockford and Chicago, a majority of campers came from the suburbs.

The four-hour session featured skill drills, evaluations and scrimmages of some of the top sixth, seventh and eighth graders in the Chicago area.
