Don’t throw away your tangled, frayed or burned-out Christmas tree lights this year! Drop them off at the Warrenville Public Library, 28W751 Stafford Place, during regular Library hours beginning Monday, Nov. 14.
The following items will be accepted: Mini-lights (also known as Italian lights), C7 lights, C9 lights, rope lights, LED lights, and extension cords. All colors and lengths will be accepted. Garland, live greens, wreaths or other non-recyclables are not accepted in this program.
Special thanks to Elgin Recycling and the City of Warrenville Environmental Advisory Commission for partnering with the Library to promote this recycling event in our community. The collection will continue through Feb. 1.
