The Villa Park Recreation Department announces that openings are still available for Fall Soccer for children in 1st through 8th grades.  The fall soccer season features a seven game season, with games on Saturday mornings beginning September 11.  Teams practice one day per week between the hours of 4:30 and 7:30 pm.  Teams are co-rec and are determined on a random basis.  New this fall is that the 7th and 8th grade age group will play in the Mid Suburban Soccer League and play teams from Addison, Glendale Heights, Itasca, Medinah, Roselle and Wood Dale.  Program supervisor Steve Munsie said “we are excited to be part of the Mid Suburban Soccer League and the opportunities this association will provide to the 7th and 8th graders.”  Games will be played in Villa Park and in the participating communities.  The fee for soccer is $52.  Please call Steve Munsie at 630-834-8970 or email him at SteveM@vprd.org with any questions.
