Villa Park police said a man got out of his car and approached a 4-year old who was riding his bike Monday.
They’re calling it a “suspicious incident.”
The boy was riding his bicycle around 12:15 p.m. on the 200 block of North Harvard Avenue when a black, late model Dodge Durango pulled up alongside the boy and a male passenger got out and approached him, police said.
A neighbor saw the man approaching the boy and came out to investigate. Police said the man returned to his vehicle and left the area.
The passenger was described as a black male, in his late 30′s, thin build, wearing a red t-shirt, blue jeans and a baseball cap.
The driver was only described as a white male.
Villa Park police urge anyone with information about this incident to contact them at (630) 834-7447 or e-mail them at police@vppd.org .
