LEAPIN' LIZARDS!  Little orphan ANNIE’s spunk and eternal optimism comes to Morgan Park Academy’s Art Center, 2153 West 111th Street, Chicago, with the musical production of “Annie” on Saturday, May 5th at 8PM and Sunday, May 6th at 3PM.  Theater on the Move’s intergenerational cast, ranging from ages 4-84, will make audiences grin from ear to ear as Annie inspires with the heart-warming, timeless tale of hard-knocks, pluck, a sunny disposition and the hope for a better tomorrow. This beloved musical will entertain the whole family. Directed by Susan Pagels (West Beverly/Chicago) with musical direction by Catherine Kogut-Simon (Matteson), principal cast members include: Lara Allison, Arlington Heights and Tessa Newman, Naperville as Annie/Kate; Ron Buscemi, Evergreen Park as Daddy Warbucks; Susan Pagels, West Beverly/Chicago as Miss Hannigan; Pat Henaghan, Olympia Fields as Grace; Maurice McNicholas, Mt. Since its inception, Theater on the Move produced over 200 full-scale comedies, dramas and musicals and provided an opportunity for people throughout the Chicago metropolitan area to partake in live theater programs.  Theater on the Move has also trained over 1,000 area children with varying abilities and diverse backgrounds, many of whom have gone on to perform professionally and even on Broadway stages.
