Advocate South Suburban Hospital of Hazel Crest, Ill., welcomed its first baby of the New Year on January 1, 2010. Obstetrician/gynecologist Kenneth Bray, M.D., delivered Maria Salazars third child at 5:23 a.m. Baby girl Samantha Evelyn Salazar weighed in at 7 lbs., 8 oz., and was 20 inches long. The infant will be joining sister Jessica, 8, and brother Guillermo, 4, at home. The newborn is pictured with her parents Maria and Guillermo Salazar of Chicago Heights, Ill.
