Trinity Lutheran School Hosts Science Fair

Trinity Lutheran School in Tinley Park hosted a Science Fair for students in grades kindergarten through 8th grade. Families packed Trinity's gymnasium to view the displays and experiments the students had worked on over the past month.

First, students learned the steps involved in the scientific method. Then following these steps, students made observations and conducted experiments which helped them learn more about plants, animals, the solar system, electricity, and much more.

"My favorite part of the Science Fair is seeing the talents and abilities of each of our students," said Al Berg, Trinity's science teacher. "As students begin their science projects, they are presented with a problem. Then they need to solve the problem and find an answer." Berg continued, "This is great, because they are learning needed skills which are a part of everyday life."
