Tinley Park Police arrested three men who were allegedly burglarizing a home in the 7600 block of 162nd Place at about 10 a.m. Thursday, said Cmdr. Steve Vaccaro.

Police were called to the home when a neighbor reported seeing an unfamiliar car in a driveway and three unknown men who walked to the back of the residence, Vaccaro said.

The men were inside the home but fled on foot when police arrived, he said, leaving their car in the driveway. One was stopped a few houses away and the other two were found hiding under a porch about a block away.

“At this point all three are in custody and the investigation continues,” he said.
