There was an abundance of cheer Jan. 10 as more than 80 cheerleading squads came to compete in the 10th annual Lake Zurich High School Cheer Invitational and Conference.

Downers Grove South came out on top of the Co-ed Varsity Division, beating out 10 other squads.

South Elgin took second place, Elk Grove placed third, Streamwood took fourth and Sycamore was fifth.
