On November 18 & 19, Hanover Township will host Handmade in Hanover at the Township Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59 in Bartlett. On both days from 10:00AM to 3:00PM, attendees will be able to purchase items such as quilts, honey and other crafts from over 40 local artisans. Crafters have also donated items to be raffled; tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.
The event also features the 30th anniversary of the bake sale. Pies, cakes, cookies and fudge will be available for purchase to stock up for the holidays. Proceeds from the bake sale and raffle will go to the Township’s Adopt-a-Senior program which purchases gifts for needy seniors in the community.
“I have been working with the Bake Sale for twenty-eight years, I am so happy and excited to have everyone baking for such a great cause,” says 90-year-old Township resident Dorothy Pontoriero.
On November 19, free photos will Santa and Mrs. Claus will take place for children.
