Give us your opinion and insight . . . This community workshop is the first of many face-to-face community outreach events scheduled throughout the planning process.
The purpose of this first workshop is to allow residents to tell us what they think, before preliminary plans and recommendations are prepared.
The purpose of the Community Workshop is to: (1) review the purpose of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, (2) the planning process to be undertaken, (3) the preliminary schedule; and (4) secure local views on problems, issues and potentials within the community.
The meeting will be an engaging, creative, and interactive experience designed to review, discuss, and identify conditions and potentials within the Park District.
The results and feedback from the Workshop will be used in conjunction with other steps in the planning process to serve as the foundation for the preparation of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
