SUMMARY:Bob Leonard 5K Run & Walk-A-Thon
DESCRIPTION;CHARSET=UTF-8:Beginning and finishing in Pottawatomie Park, the 5K Run crosses the Fox River before heading north into the hills of Timber Trails Park. The 5K Run begins at 8 AM with sign in starting at 7:15 AM. Race is chip-timed and course is USTAF certified. Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers with additional prizes given to 1st place and Best Overall Time winners.  Gather the family and take a walk along the Fox River through downtown St. Charles. The 2.5 mile journey begins and ends in Pottawatomie Park with a turnaround point in Mount St. Mary Park. The Walk-A-Thon begins at 9:30 AM with sign in starting at 8:45. Families are encouraged to participate – strollers and pets are welcome on the walk! Walkers are encouraged to raise pledges for this event. A prize will be awarded to the walker who   contributes the greatest amount of pledges.  Runners and Walkers are invited to a Party at the Pavilion immediately following the event with live music, great food and prize drawings valued over $3000.   REGISTER today at www.signmeup.com
