Employees of closed Lincolnwood bakery protest loss of jobs and pay
A group of former employees at the recently closed Rolf’s Patisserie in Lincolnwood filed a lawsuit Tuesday, claiming the bakery failed to properly notify employees of its closure.
They’re also demanding that the bakery’s owners pay employees money owed to them in their final paychecks, for vacation time and other benefits — an amount the employees’ lawyer estimated to be in the millions of dollars.
