As a Midwestern who had never been to NYC until last week, I regard the experience as a must-do at least once. Ashley had a work meeting so I tagged along for the week. While you could debate the merits of here and there all day, I was really struck by the fact NYC has two competing (if not more) observations towers just like us. And, while the Empire State Building and the Sears/Willis Tower might be favored by some, we prefer NYC's Top of the Rock (GE Building @ Rockefeller Plaza) and Top of the Cock.
