The following items were taken from Schaumburg police records on Oct. 29.
Forgery
A 35-year-old McHenry man was arrested at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 25 at his home, and charged with felony forgery after he attempted to fill a fraudulent prescription for oxycodone.
Fraudulent identity
A 32-year-old Elgin man was arrested at 9:15 p.m. Oct. 25 at Sears in Woodfield Shopping Center, and charged with using fraudulent identification, a felony, after he tried to obtain a store credit card using someone else’s identity.
Battery
A 55-year-old Schaumburg man was arrested at 12:52 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 100 block of Bar Harbour Road, and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.
An 18-year-old Schaumburg man was arrested at 11:58 p.m. Oct. 14 in the 500 block of S. Roselle Road, and charged with felony counts of aggravated battery and resisting a police officer. An officer on patrol noticed the man standing on a truck and when he tried to question him, the man ran and then struggled when caught.
A 43-year-old Schaumburg woman was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 1900 block of Warwick Street, and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery
Theft
A 23-year-old Chicago woman and a 19-year-old Schaumburg woman were arrested at 6:31 p.m. Oct. 22 at Sears in Woodfield Shopping Center, and each charged with misdemeanor retail theft for taking clothes and jewelry, valued at about $159, by hiding it in a stroller.
A 27-year-old Streamwood woman was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Oct. 24 at Kohls, 171 N. Barrington Road, and charged with misdemeanor retail theft for taking clothing and perfume, valued at $292.50.
A 31-year-old Hoffman Estates woman was arrested at 7:23 p.m. Oct. 24 at J.C. Penney’s in Woodfield Shopping Center, and charged with misdemeanor retail theft for stealing jewelry, valued at $28.
Drunken driving
A 30-year-old Chicago man was arrested at 2:25 a.m. Oct. 22 at Roselle and Higgins roads, and charged with two misdemeanor counts of drunken driving and cited for failure to use headlights, failure to signal and for having only one red taillight.
A 19-year-old Schaumburg man was arrested at 1 a.m. Oct. 28 near Golf and Plum Grove roads, and charged with felony aggravated drunken driving, misdemeanor drunken driving and cited for speeding, disobeying a traffic signal and having no valid proof of insurance.
Burglary
A pumpkin and a light bulb were stolen between 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22 and 7:45 p.m. Oct. 23 from a home in the 1100 block of Duxbury Lane.
A GPS unit, valued at $149, was stolen between 8:30 p.m. Oct. 24 and 10:24 a.m. Oct. 25 after a window was smashed in a car while it was parked at Spring Hill Suites, 1550 McConnor Parkway.
A GPS unit, valued at $130, was stolen between 9 p.m. Oct. 25 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 26 after a window was broken in a car while it was parked in the 1100 block of Dickens Way.
A touch screen television, valued at $500, was stolen between 9:15 p.m. Oct. 25 and 6 a.m. Oct. 26 from a vehicle parked in the 1100 block of Copperfield Lane. Entry was made by smashing a window.
A car stereo, valued at $350, was stolen between 9 p.m. Oct. 25 and 8 a.m. Oct. 26 while the car was parked in the 1000 block of Dickens Way.
A GPS unit and a digital camera, valued at a total of $270, were stolen between 10 p.m. Oct. 26 and noon Oct. 27 from a car while it was parked in the 1500 block of W. Chatham Lane.
Property damage
A car’s tires were slashed and pumpkin was smeared on the vehicle between 8 and 10:30 p.m. Oct. 23 while it was parked in the 500 block of Samoset Court.
