Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital employees collected and delivered 73 school supply-filled backpacks to Victory Cathedral Worship Center in Romeoville on Aug. 27. Victory Cathedral serves local homeless shelters through an outreach program. This is the fifth year hospital employees took on this project.

“The recent economic downturn means there’s an even greater need in our community this year,” said Todd Anderson, vice president/chief financial officer at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. “We’re proud that our employees reached out to our community in this special way. It demonstrates their commitment to our mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ.”
