Cars line up to dispose of unwanted household hazardous wastes at the GR2012 Sustainability Fair at Joliet Junior College’s main campus on May 19.  In all, 479 vehicles dropped off hazardous wastes from 508 households, giving residents an opportunity to properly dispose of unwanted chemicals and hazardous wastes that may have otherwise polluted the environment due to improper handling or disposal.
