Two in serious condition after traffic accident

Four people have been transported to area hospitals, including two in serious condition, after an accident on Route 30 near Frontage Road in Plainfield.

Injuries occurred when a Honda SUV and Cadillac SUV T-boned near the intersection Wednesday afternoon, said Plainfield Assistant Fire Chief Jon Stratton.

Identities of those involved in the crash were not available. Plainfield police are investigation the accident, Stratton said.

There are no delays on the roads near the accident site as of 5 p.m. Wednesday, Stratton said.
