Thefts
§ Exposed copper wires valued at $100 were stolen from the US Cellular tower, 22313 W. Lockport Road on July 19. Entry was made by cutting a hole in the chain link fence.
Arrests
§ A 19-year-old man, from the 26600 block of Poplar Court, was cited for driving while license suspended during a July 19 traffic stop at Budler and Taylor roads.
§ A 20-year-old woman, from the 22200 block of Niagra Trail, was cited for expired registration, driving while license suspended and unlawful display of a registration sticker during a July 20 traffic stop at Budler Road and Pasadena Lane.
§ A 21-year-old Joliet woman was cited for no front registration, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle during a July 21 traffic stop at Caton Farm Road and Golfmoor Street.
Burglaries
§ A laptop, a wedding ring, an audio-video baby monitor, five low-velocity replica guns and three BB guns were stolen from a home on the 3000 block of Tyler Drive, according to a July 22 report. Entry was made by forcing a rear door open.
§ Two laptops and a computer tower were stolen from a home on the 14000 block of Hemingway Circle between 5 and 5:35 a.m. July 22 while the resident was away. The victim returned to find a rear window broken.
Burglary from vehicles
§ A digital radio receiver and $10 cash were taken from a car parked on the 3000 block of Willardshire Drive during a July 24 break-in.
Property Damage
§ A front window screen was reported cut at a vacant home on the 13000 block of South Jersey Court on July 20. It was the third time in a month that the residence has been broken into.
§ Two small evergreen plants, a sand cherry bush and a hydrangea were killed at a residence on the 21000 block of Joyce Court on July 21. The lawn also had a 6-by-1-foot dead patch.
