The unique people, places and things that make Park Ridge special were the focus of the Hometown Voices Tour on Feb. 17, when WGN Radio morning man Jonathon Brandmeier brought his wit and energy to a live broadcast from The Summit of Uptown in the heart of Park Ridge.

Chosen from among hundreds of listener suggestions, The Summit of Uptown caught Brandmeier’s attention because he said he wanted to do something unexpected and interesting. “My intention was to bring a fun, entertaining show to all of my listeners, plus the residents of The Summit of Uptown…” said Brandmeier. “I’m envisioned this as a traveling vaudeville show for the residents!”

“This program was great for the community and for The Summit of Uptown,” said Marc Dennison, Executive Director of The Summit.
