At the request of Congressman Robert Dold, 10th District of Illinois, Maine Township elected officials and staff met with him recently at Omega Restaurant, Niles. The purpose was to discuss issues and concerns of residents in Maine Township. Shown here are Township Trustee Walter Kazmierczak (also a former officer with the Township Officials of Illinois), Highway Staff member Dawne Hayman, Congressman Dold, Township Supervisor Carol Teschky, Adminstrative Staff member Doriene Prorak, and Highway Commissioner Robert Provenzano. A good exchange of information took place with an assurance of help from Dold’s office with matters involving the federal government.
