Youth Choral Theatre of Chicago begins open auditions for singers age 5-18 on August 15th for its 2010-2011 season. Individual auditions will be held at either of two convenient north suburban locations—Trinity United Methodist Church in Wilmette or Schram Chapel in Glenview—and can be scheduled by calling 847.535.9873. Interested singers do not need musical material prepared ahead of time. Criteria for admission into one of the Youth Choral Theater of Chicago’s ensembles include keen listening skills, the desire to sing and willingness to learn and most importantly: a genuine enthusiasm for singing.
