The Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau will offer two free separate seminars for religious meeting planners and family reunion planners at the end of November at the Chicago Southland CVB office at 2304 173rd Street, Lansing, IL 60438.

The first will focus on how the Chicago Southland CVB can assist church pastors and staff with their meetings and events or how to bring their larger meetings to the Chicago Southland. Attendees will learn how to craft the right proposal for the right venue, as well as all the complimentary convention services and meeting promotions the CVB offers. Attendees will receive a complimentary flash drive containing Chicago Southland Meeting Venue Information. The Religious Workshop starts at 9:00 AM Tuesday, November 29, 2011.

Family reunions and the planning that goes into them will be the focus of the second seminar. Planners will learn more about budgeting and costs, the right size location for your group, how to use a timeline to maximize cost efficiencies and minimize stress and how the Chicago Southland CVB can help. All attendees will receive a Family Reunion Planner. The Family Reunion Seminar starts at 9:00 AM Wednesday November 30, 2011.
