Still thinking about signing up for classes at Moraine Valley Community College, but worried it’s too late? There are several late starting and short-term classes available for the fall semester.
A variety of classes are available at different start dates and times, including:
* English Literature I, American National Government, American History I, Life-Span Developmental Psychology, Medical Terminology, Spanish I, and Intermediate Algebra, which start between Sept. 1 and 8.
* Internet Basics, Tour/Itinerary Planning, Life-Span Developmental Psychology, World Religions, A Healthy Lifestyle and You, Nutrition for Today, Introduction to American Music, College Algebra (Functions), Marriage and Family, Pre-GED Skills, Food Service Sanitation, and Speech Fundamentals, which start between Oct. 12 and 27.
* World Religions, Introduction to Fiction, Principles of Retailing, International Business, Advertising, Principles of Management, Adult Psychology, HIV and Substance Abuse, and Employee Training and Development, which begin between Nov. 1 and 9.
A complete listing of credit and noncredit classes can be found in the fall 2010 class schedule or online at morainevalley.edu. Registration is ongoing. Tuition is $95 per credit hour plus fees and books. Students who have applied to the college can register in the Registration Office, located on campus in the Student Services Center (Building S), 9000 W.
