Chicago Christian’s Richards Signs Letter of Intent for Soccer

Chicago Christian senior Carolyn Richards (Orland Park), daughter of Gene and Nancy Richards, signed a National Letter of Intent today to play soccer for the Eagles of Florida Gulf Coast University. FGSU is a division one school that competes in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

A varsity starter since her freshman year, Carolyn has scored 54 goals and has tallied 22 assists in addition to developing a resume of individual honors that include SCC All-Conference first team selections (2010, 2011), Chicago Fire/Southtown Star All-Area Team selection (2011), and IHSSCA All-Sectional Team selections (2010, 2011). Carolyn hopes to finish her senior year on a high note by helping her team earn a third consecutive Regional Championship, and possibly a first ever Sectional Championship.
