There are more than 10 new adult evening and Saturday classes available to District 211 residents this spring, offering adults in our communities opportunities to enrich their lives, improve their skills, learn to read, or complete their high school education. New courses this year include: Hand-Bound Book Binding, Introduction to Internet, Oil Pastel Painting, Diabetes Education, Organizing your home, and Team Building, as well as several new jewelry, cooking, and fitness classes.
Classes begin the week of February 6, 2012. Registration began January 17, 2012. Registration can be completed online by visiting the District 211 web site at www.d211.org, clicking on “Continuing Education,” and following the instructions to a secure registration service. Registration also may be completed by telephone using a credit card (847-755-6820); by fax (847-755-6867); by mail; or in person at the G.A. McElroy Administration Center, 1750 S. Roselle Road in Palatine, weekdays from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
