High school runners on local club teams were very successful at the 5-state Nike Cross Regional Championship Meet in Terre Haute, Indiana on November 13.
Palatine XC Club's boys team took third place in the field of 27 teams behind clubs from Columbus, IN and York High School in Elmhurst. Girls clubs from New Trier and Prospect high schools finished in second and third place.
Several individuals from Illinois also performed well, including girls' champion Amanda Fox (Naperville Central).
