Hundreds of Consolidated High School District 230 students came out to watch their teachers as Carl Sandburg’s staff beat out Victor J. Andrew and Amos Alonzo Stagg teachers in a round-robin basketball tournament Wednesday night at Sandburg.

Money and canned goods used as admission to the tournament benefited Together We Cope. J. Kyle Braid Foundation student leaders organized halftime spirit activities and members of the schools’ Key Clubs helped organize the canned food drive.
