Grease Sing-A-Long Cruises into the OPPL

Grease is the word at the Orland Park Public Library. The Outreach Services staff of the Orland Park Public Library will be showing a sing-a-long version of “Grease” on Saturday, January 22 at 2:00 p.m. The audience is invited to watch “Grease” on the library’s big projector screen and sing along with the original high school musical! The lyrics will be on the screen to keep participants on track with the words. Accessory bags, which include props for the sign-a-long, will be handed out to add to the viewing fun.

“Since our past “Wizard of Oz” sing-a-long program was a hit with our patrons, we decided to bring the “Grease Sing-A-Long” to library. “Grease” is the biggest selling movie musical of all time so this sing-a-long version should be a blast,” says Kelly Cuci, Head of Outreach Services for the Orland Park Public Library. Guests are invited to wear their best poodle skirt, bobby socks and saddle shoes or dress as their favorite character.

“Grease” was originally released in 1978 and is rated PG-13. No registration is needed, but space is limited. The library is located at 14921 Ravinia Avenue. For more information, please call the Outreach Services staff at 708-428-5114.
