Three Piggy Opera- A St. Michael School Favorite

Katie Hynes, an 8th grade junior marketer, gives us a recap on a St. Michael School classic, and overall favorite; The Three Piggy Opera.

“Oink Oink Diggity Dear. The Three Piggy Opera was just here! On February 2nd, the first graders put on quite a spectacular show telling the story of the Three Little Pigs. Family, friends and 8th grade partners all came to watch this frightening performance! All first grade students participated in this program. They were either one of the three little pigs, a peddler, a narrator, the momma pig, the scary wolf, or in the chorus. Everyone could tell how much time and hard-work was put into this opera! The Three Piggy Opera was directed by none other than St. Michael’s own music teacher, Jennifer Trippiedi. The homeroom teachers also helped with the narrating, though! All in all, the performance done by such young students was very well done and we all look forward to next year’s show!”
