The Marcella Neihoff School of Nursing Graduate Student Nurses Association (GSNA) raised $700 to benefit the homeless program Western Suburban PADS.

“This is a great way for us to give back to our community,” said Renee Hansen, member of the GSNA. “The wonderful thing about this relationship with PADS is it not only allow us to support them financially, but opens up volunteer opportunities for us to work together.”

The GSNA sold Loyola Nursing hooded sweatshirts to raise funds for the program. The effort was so successful they are doing it again for their spring fundraiser.

“We all have families and busy schedules so this is a great way for us a student body to make an impact and help others,” said Hansen.
