Dr. John Boblick, general pediatrics and adult medicine, who lives and practices in Oak Park has been named to Chicago Magazine's list of "Top Kids' Docs." Dr. Boblick has practiced in Oak Park for more than 20 years and cares for patients at Loyola University Health System's office at 7005 North Avenue.

Dr. Boblick is joined on the list by these additional Loyola doctors with the following specialties:

– Dr. Rekha Agrawal: bed wetting, childhood kidney problems, high blood pressure and kidney failure.
– Dr. James Berman: children with disabilities, constipation, Crohn's disease, feeding disorders and ulcerative colitis.
– Dr. Sean Diamond: general pediatrics, special-needs children and ventilator-dependent children at home.
–Dr. Joel Hardin: abnormal lipids and high cholesterol, adult congenital heart disease, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, congenital heart disease, echocardiography, fetal cardiology, fetal echocardiology, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, Kawasaki disease, Marfan syndrome, neonatal congenital heart disease, pediatric cardiac intensive care, pediatric cardiology outreach and pulmonary hypertension.
– Dr. Ricarchito Manera: blood diseases, cancer and leukemia.

The list was compiled by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd, a healthcare research and information company. In mail, telephone and electronic surveys, Castle Connolly asked physicians and medical leadership of leading hospitals to identify "highly, exceptional doctors," according to the October issue of Chicago magazine.

Earlier this year, Chicago magazine named 32 Loyola physicians to its 2010 list of Chicago's Top Doctors representing all specialties.
