Triton College kicked off Black History Month with a ceremony themed "Black Excellence" on Feb. 1. The event included music by Diverse Chemistry, speakers and presentations that relfected on African-American History.

Triton College celebrates Black History with a month of on-campus activities, including a film series, a "Know Your African-American History" game show, a National Read-In on Feb. 22, and to conclude, an Empowerment Showcase, featuring the Triton College Choral Choir and Triton students singing and reading historical messages from Black leaders.
