Oak Park artist Tom Burtonwood who teaches at The School of the Art Institute and Columbia College in Chicago presented a program on his futuristic creations which blend science and art, resulting in 3-D images and sculptures. The program at Maze Branch Library in Oak Park on Saturday, Feb. 18, was in conjunction with an exhibit of Burtonwood's sculptures which is on display there through February. Burtonwood was joined by another Oak Park scientist/artist Patrick Lichty who teaches interactive art and media as well as robotics at Columbia College.
