More than 800 people gathered at Ridgeland Common on Sunday, January 29 to begin the celebration of the Park District of Oak Park's 100th birthday. A good time was had by all as they skated, enjoyed cupcakes and hot chocolate, participated in the free photo booth, played games, and more. Renowned Blackhawks organist, Frank Pellico, provided the music, and award-winning snow sculptor, Peter Hermann, worked his magic to create a hockey goalie made from snow!
