Cease Fire Staff Shares Film Clips from 'The Interrupters'
Tio Hardiman and Cobe Williams of Cease Fire Chicago shared film clips from the "The Interrupers," the award-winning documentary film by Oak Park residents Steve James and Alex Kotlowitz, Monday night at Unity Temple. The Cease Fire staffers, guest speakers at the Community of Congregations Annual Meeting, said that Cease Fire recognizes that violence behaves like a disease and spreads like a disease.
The Cease Fire Chicago staff was joined by Janice Mitchell-Bolling, Violence Prevention Coordinator for Maywood.
