The following items were taken from the Oak Park Police blotter Feb. 7:
Criminal damage to motor vehicle
Someone cut and removed the exhaust pipe from a car parked at the Holly Court Garage, 1100 block of Ontario Street, sometime between 8:15 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. on Feb. 1. The loss is estimated at $523.
Someone damaged a BMW parked at the 600 block of South Boulevard by unknown means sometime between 8:16 and 9 p.m. on Feb. 2. The damage is estimated at $1,400.
Retail theft
A 47-year-old man, of the 7800 block of Winchester Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 10:12 a.m. on Feb. 2 at the Dominick’s Foods, 200 block of Lake Street, and charged with retail theft after he was seen removing items from the shelves, placing them in his bag and attempting to leave the store without paying.
Theft
A men’s bicycle valued at $250 was stolen from an open garage at the 900 block of N. Harvey Avenue sometime between 9 a.m. Feb. 2 and 4:30 p.m. Feb. 3.
Someone took a green rickshaw bicycle valued at $700 from the alley at the 800 block of N. Grove Avenue sometime between 10 and 11:15 a.m. on Feb. 5.
A blue Huffy girls bicycle valued at $90 was stolen from the backyard of a home at the 1100 block of S. Scoville Avenue sometime between 9 a.m. Feb. 1 and 8 a.m. Feb. 3.
Burglary to motor vehicle
Someone broke into a garage at the 800 block of Clinton Avenue sometime between 5:45 p.m. Feb. 3 and 8:30 a.m. Feb. 4 and took two purses containing identification, credit cards and money from the unlocked car inside. The loss is estimated at $235.
Domestic battery
A 25-year-old man, of the 400 block of N. Austin Boulevard, was arrested at 1:37 a.m. on Feb. 6 at the 400 block of N. Austin Boulevard and charged with domestic battery. He was processed and held for bond hearings.
