Armed robbery at Oak Park pharmacy, and more

The following items were taken from the Oak Park Police blotter Feb. 1:

Retail theft

A 22-year-old man, of the 200 block Kostner Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 4:39 p.m. on Jan. 29 at the 1700 block of N. Harlem Avenue for retail theft that occurred at the 900 block of Madison Avenue on Jan. 8. He was transported to the station.

A male juvenile of Chicago was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 at the 600 block of N. Oak Park Avenue and charged with theft. He was processed and transported to the juvenile detention facility.

Someone took a bicycle from a garage at the 100 block of S. Ridgeland Avenue sometime between 8 a.m. Jan. 16 and 6 p.m. Jan. 29. The loss is estimated at $870.

Someone stole a bicycle from a rack at the 1100 block of South Boulevard sometime between 4:15  p.m. Jan 27 and 5:30 p.m. Jan. 30. The loss is estimated at $150.

Someone gained entry to an apartment at the 1000 block of Pleasant Place between 7 a.m.  Jan. 19 and 10 p.m. Jan. 26 and took a silver laptop. The loss is estimated at $1,000.

Armed robbery

A man wearing a ski mask and black gloves walked up to the register at Segreti Pharmacy, 6100 block of Roosevelt Avenue, between 3:05 and 3:10 p.m. on Jan. 31 and placed a black semi-automatic handgun on the counter and demanded prescription drugs. The person working behind the counter complied, and the offender walked out the front door with the items. The total loss is estimated at $360.

DUI

A 22-year-old man, of the 3100 block of Hill Lane, Wilmette, was arrested at 7:42 p.m. on Jan. 31 at the 700 block of Columbian Avenue and charged with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
