The American Lung Association (ALA) has recently recognized Chiro One Wellness Centers’ Chief Marketing Officer, Brett Penager as the 2010 Volunteer of the Year.
Each year, the American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest (region-wide organization encompassing Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota & Wisconsin) selects an outstanding volunteer from one of their seven states that embodies the spirit of their organization. On Saturday, June 26th, Brett Penager was honored with this prestigious award.
Each awardee has shown leadership in promoting the important mission of the ALA, is an active participant and fundraiser for both a Local Leadership Board and one or more signature events, and is willing to open new corporate, foundation or individual relationships to the Lung Association. This year, their volunteer has gone above and beyond their expectations.
As a founding partner and Chief Marketing Officer of Chiro One Wellness Centers, Brett Penager is responsible for leading a team that reaches over 40,000 people a year with chiropractic services. A nationally renowned speaker and educator, Brett’s interests range from business to marketing, coaching and even wrestling. He’s the author of the best- selling book, “USA Wrestling’s Coaches Guide to Excellence.”
Brett’s affiliation with the American Lung Association in Greater Chicago began three years ago. Through his shared ownership of Chiro One Wellness Centers and his individual corporation, B. Anthony International, Brett generously sponsored ALA Lung Walks, Stair Climbs and the Lake Tour Bike Trek in Chicagoland. He went above and beyond financial support by marketing and promoting these events at his Chiro One centers to both employees and patients and eventually joined the ALA Local Leadership Board.
In less than 3 years volunteering for the American Lung Association in Greater Chicago, Brett Penager has raised and donated an amazing $52,475.00.
